Restoring dignity through empowerment

Mahlatsi says the movement will bring dignity to the masses.

Founder of Kindle Knight Movement (KKM) Mahlatsi Moleya (22) from Ormonde View wants to restore the dignity of the community.

KKM is an emerging NPO that was launched in 2020 with the focus on bringing hope back to the most vulnerable through social development and educational programmes.

Mahlatsi said they empower, engage, connect, and inspire young people to skillfully lift their voices and be heard.
Its motto has always been ‘serving humanity in the hour of need’.

“Our vision at KKM is to be a world-class catalyst to organisations both in the public and private sector for the identification and facilitation of social development and educational development programmes for the needy and most vulnerable,” he said.

“We tailor-make programmes and establish systems aimed at empowering people to create a future that is secure, just, and free from poverty. We want to raise awareness about the movement and try to get more donations of uncooked meals, toys and sanitary pads. Not forgetting any sports-related resources,” explained Mahlatsi.

Mahlatsi attended Winchester Ridge Primary School and Sir John Adamson High School. He is currently a journalism student at Boston Media House in Sandton.
