Train Kids Preschool celebrates milestone

Train Kids Preschool Academy celebrated five years on April 1 at their Randhart school.

Train Kids Preschool Academy joyfully celebrated its fifth birthday recently.

The Christian-based pre-school opened its doors with just three staff members, two classes and seven children in April 2017.

Now, five years later, the school has five classrooms, 16 staff members and only limited enrolment space available.
To celebrate their birthday, the pre-school did a Bible outreach. Parents and staff sponsored 100 Bibles that were then handed over to Past Johan Clarke.

The repainting of the boundary wall of the pre-school also formed part of their celebration.

According to the principal Leoni Boucher, learners were thrilled to watch the progress of the repainting over several weeks and were stunned by the result.

“At Train Kids, we create a safe and loving environment where playful learning nurtures curiosity to explore. This school was started in God’s name and our logo explains what we do here. We play to learn and learn to play. Now, we look forward to many more blessed years training children for His kingdom,” she said.

Past Johan Clarke extends his gratitude to the school.

Boucher said a biblical verse inspired the inception of the pre-school, ‘train up your child in the way he should go’.

Christali Botha, director at the academy, told the RECORD throughout the years, that they have had great achievements and were looking forward to many more.

“Our parents want us to start a primary school, and we said if a door opens, we might go for that. We also have a good relationship with parents at the school,” she said.
