Sphesihle Floyd Nzimande, who operates his business out of Alberton, appeared in the Specialised Financial Crimes Court at Palm Ridge on February 8.
The contents of the docket for the case has been shared with the defence but the defence requested a longer postponement to give Nzimande the opportunity to fully consult with his new legal counsel.
The State indicated that this provides both parties with the opportunity to address any potential problems as they arise to ensure that the matter proceeds smoothly.
The postponement was granted and Nzimande will appear again on April 7. His bail has been extended.
