Katlehong Althletics Club Charity Run a success
The Katlehong Athletics Club is still taking donations until the end of January towards providing shoes for children in need.
The annual Katlehong Athletics Club 31km Charity Run that took place on December 31, 2021, was a huge success.
This club initiative aimed to collect school shoes for underprivileged learners. During the race, 110 pairs of shoes were collected and up until now, 125 pairs have been collected.
The Katlehong Athletics Club is still taking donations of money and school shoes to support the initiative until the end of January when the shoes will be handed over to identified schools in need.
The club estimates that they have raised over R10 000 through the initiative.
