Simply Festive pop up shop supports small business
SOJO Business Tourism has partnered with the Simply Festive Market and Mall of the South to support small businesses and local entrepreneurs.
The market’s pop up shop will be at shop G108 at the main entrance five (near Fournos) from December 16 to 23 from 09:00 to 16:00 with handcrafted and unique gifts, hand-painted wood ranges and festive décor.
“It has become so important to support small business owners as they navigate through this difficult time, and we are pleased to be involved in creating this opportunity,” explained Nicky Vakaloudis, CEO of SOJO Business Tourism.
“There will be a lovely selection of products and I am looking forward to getting unique gifts for my friends and family”.
Candice Govinda and Dhiraj Naidoo from Zee’s Flava Fusion will have their award-winning hot sauce gift sets, vegan mayo and SA’s first alternative to tabasco at the shop.
“The market is a ray of hope for a small business like Zee’s Flava Fusion. This market gives local artisanal businesses a platform to showcase their products and build brand awareness. Supporting local businesses allows the economy to grow and innovation to thrive,” enthused Candice.
Another innovative product that will be there is the KlikRake which is the ideal gift for golfers. This is a personal bunker rake and ball retriever for golfers that extends and collapses to easily clip onto your golf bag.
Moses from Hello Mo will also be displaying his incredible handmade shwe shwe fabric dog beds and soft animals. Moses is a paraplegic who has overcome many obstacles but still has a smile as he creates these stunning pieces.
