Aviana has been crowned as Cute Missy Gauteng and Cute Missy Johannesburg 2021.

Aviana Ferreira has recently been crowned as Cute Missy Gauteng and Cute Missy Johannesburg 2021.

The three-year-old from Alberton is not shy to model in front of big audiences and glows when she is on stage.

Mr & Miss Gauteng and Mr & Miss Johannesburg were hosted by the RoleModels Foundation at Carnival City.
RoleModels Foundation is an NPO for Starfish Place of Safety.

Not only did Aviana walk away with two titles, but she also raised R10 203 with the help of her family and modelling friends.

Her modelling career started when she was only 11 months old.

“In 2019 when she was almost a year old she competed in her first pageant,” said her mother, Cherise.

She competed in many pageants:

Miss Face of Winter 2019, Baby King and Queen of Iceland 2019, Mr & Miss Casual Kindness 2019, Face of Spring Beauty 2020, Frosted Divas 2019, Frosted Divas 2020, Miss Tutu Queen 2019, Festive delight 2020, Magnificent SA 2019, Magnificent SA 2020, Magnificent SA 2021, Mr & Miss Santa 2020, Mr & Miss Valentine 2021, Miss Elite SA 2021, Mr & Miss Grand Classic 2021, Miss Elegant Elements 2021, Baby King and Queen of Iceland 2021, Miss Arms of Mercy 2021, Miss Royal Winter Classic 2021, Mr & Miss Benevolent 2021, Mr & Miss Gauteng 2021 and Mr & Miss Johannesburg 2021.

What she likes most about modelling is to look at the judges, smile at the audience and receive amazing gifts.

“Something she does not fancy is taking portfolio photographs even though her photos always come out perfectly. Many of her photos have been chosen as photogenic winners,” she added.

According to Aviana, it takes too long to take portfolio photos.

Aviana is very lucky to have her grandmother and Genesis Couture to help make her outfits for the pageants.

The RoleModels Foundation

Cherise and Aviana got involved with the foundation earlier this year.

According to Cherise, they are going to continue supporting this good cause.

“Charity is Juanita Smit’s, founder of RoleModels Foundation, passion, and you can see it. How amazing is it to help those in need and be part of an experience where you as a model can change lives,” said Cherise.

RoleModels Foundation is concerned about those suffering inhumane conditions and, in particular, about children who cannot change their circumstances or the cycle of poverty into which they are born.

“We are driven towards creating a stronger future generation,” said Juanita.

It is the mission of RoleModels Foundation to intervene in impoverished communities, to create self-sustainability through education and skills development; ultimately eradicating poverty.

“Rolemodels Foundation hosts philanthropic pageants and other fund-raisers across South Africa. Beauty without a purpose is unbeautiful.

“We believe it is important to teach the youth they can indeed make a difference in the community by getting involved in constructive projects,” said Juanita.

Aviana is the youngest of two girls. Her big sister inspires her, as she is also a model and a singer.

“She is a very energetic little girl. She loves to go on hunting trips with her father,” said Cherise.

“Our thing is pageants, and it is some of our most memorable moments together.

“She also enjoys making TikTok videos with her sister.”

In her spare time, she enjoys making clothes for her dolls with her grandmother.

She is also raising funds for Starfish Place of Safety.

“We are collecting building materials, food, clothes and school accessories. Financial donations are also welcome. This will all go toward the RoleModels Foundation,” Cherise explained.
