Aspirant model appeals for help to keep her dream alive

Eden Park aspirant model Charlize Theron requests for a R1 500 donation to keep her modelling dream alive.

Charlize Theron, named after South African-born and American actress and producer Charlize Theron, wants to inspire others to dream bigger.

Right after getting her breakthrough of finally venturing into modelling, the 17-year-old’s support system encountered financial constraints.

Charlize, from Eden Park, recently joined Figures Modelling Agency and was elected for a project of Enterprise Outsourcing Holdings (EOH) Group.

EOH is a South African company specialising in the provision of technology services to businesses and the government. The company selected learners to come up with ideas for better technology solutions.

The ambitious model is expected to model at their latest event; however, she needs to raise R1 500 to cover expenses (a new dress, shoes and make-up).

“I live with my unemployed parents and my siblings. My mother, who covered my expenses while working, recently lost her job. I would appreciate any donations to keep my dream alive. Any help and support will change my life and give me a chance at pursuing my love for the industry,” she said.

Growing up, she always regarded herself as unique and kept her head above water even in difficult times.

“I have always known I had a much brighter future than what my reality showed. From a tender age, I always felt like I had to prove myself. I didn’t have any role models except for my mother. I had to become my own role model. I am a very Godly person and believe that makes me very orderly,” said Charlize.

Her life values are instilled in harmony, respect and honesty.

She also told the RECORD she refuses to back down without a fight for what she believes in.
