From October 15, all municipal waste removal trucks, private trucks and the community yet again enjoyed the service of dumping waste at landfill sites closest to them.

MMC for Environment Resources and Waste Management Services councillor Makhosazana Mabaso said it’s all systems go now that landfill sites are back to being fully operational.

The Rietfontein landfill site is based in Kwa-Thema while Simmer and Jack landfill site is based in Germiston.
