Golf day hosted for Amcare’s fund-raiser
Amcare recently hosted its fund-raiser golf day at Eye of Africa Signature Golf Estate in Eikenhof.
At least 104 golfers took part in Amcare’s Golf Day fund-raising event at Eye of Africa Signature Golf Estate in Eikenhof.
The format of the day, according to Joeline du Preez, Amcare’s fund-raiser, was betterball Stableford, with the shotgun start at 10:00, consisting of six sponsored holes.
“Hole one was FIT Group being platinum sponsor, Pro Fans for hole two with standard sponsorship, Macsteel at hole five with gold sponsor, Wealth Associates in hole 10 with platinum sponsorship, Atlas Copco in hole 12 with gold sponsorship and Mapei in hole 18 with platinum sponsorship,” she said.
Du Preez said Macsteel was the main sponsor as they donated various prizes and booked almost half the golf day with 12 fourballs.
Mapei was said to also have been a big sponsor as they donated other goods as well as prizes.
