Mrs Mogul InterAfrica finalists drop off donations on Mandela Day

Women in the South reached out to other women in dire need on Mandela Day.

Mrs Universe Africa 2019 and pageant director for Migethan Pageant Nesisa Moyo, who also runs Mrs Mogul InterAfrica 2021 and Miss Mogul InterAfrica 2021, accompanied finalists of Mrs Mogul InterAfrica to spread some cheer on Mandela Day.

Moyo told the CHRONICLE that as part of their pageant journey, they are expected to organise community outreach events to spread love to those who need it.

“On July 18, in celebration of Mandela Day, they dropped off sanitary towels, clothes and food at Ipeleng Care Foundation in Roodepoort,” she said.

One of the finalists, Lucy Human, organised the event in association with Ipeleng Cares Foundation and Village 2.0 Women and Children’s Shelter.

“We wanted to give food parcels, toiletries and sanitary pads to the shelter. We gathered as Mrs Mogul finalists to assist where there was a need.

“The people in that shelter come from a different environment where they were abused. We felt the need to give what we could on Mandela Day,” said Human.

She said the drop-off was a success and seeing people at the shelter with excitement gave them a great feeling.

The finalists of Mrs Mogul InterAfrica are Neandra Sithole, Ntokozo Shilenge, Lucy Human and founder of Ipeleng Cares Foundation Ipeleng Mofokeng.
