Mondeor SAPS seeks help in finding missing Kibler Park woman

She has been missing since June 24.

Mondeor SAPS seeks help in finding a missing eighty-year-old Mbangula Nombiyana Elbertina.

Nombiyana who is considered vulnerable was last seen at her home in Kibler Park on Thursday afternoon. 

According to the Pink Ladies Organisation, she was last seen wearing a t-shirt, brown and black jersey. She may be confused and disorientated.

According to the South African Police Service Missing Persons Bureau, a person goes missing every five hours in South Africa. When something like this happens to you, it can make you feel powerless and hopeless, but there is something you can do now to help a person should they ever go missing.

What to do when a person goes missing

There is an ongoing impression that you need to wait at least 24 hours to report a person missing. This is not true at all- there is no waiting period to report a person, including a child, as missing. You must go to the police as soon as you suspect that a person has been abducted or disappeared.
