One suspect has been arrested this Thursday, June 24 after a break-in into a substation on Redwood Street in Mayberry Park.
Elowayne Gouws Fox Security’s operations manager said the suspect was making a forced entry into the roof of the substation when he was spotted by a Fox reaction unit.
“A backup was requested and our Fox reaction and tactical units responded,” he said.
Upon arrival, officers noticed the suspect attempting to flee the scene on foot.
Gouws said officers gave chase as he was jumping the walls of the premises to getaway. The suspect was arrested on Poplar Street, a few streets down.
Fox Security made a plea to the community to assist in combating the crime in the area.
