Theart Mey Attorneys appreciates frontline workers

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, Theart Mey Attorneys recognised the hard work and dedication of about 750 healthcare workers on February 12.

The law firm took a morning out to spread love to the workers of Netcare Clinton and Netcare Union hospitals by handing out gift packs containing cappuccino, muffins, cards and inspirational messages.

Thenji Masingile of Theart Mey Attorneys said these frontline workers risk their lives under difficult circumstances every day to care for ours.

“The year 2020 has been a challenging year for families, businesses and the world at large. The pandemic changed the way we live our lives. Had it not been for our frontline essential services, we would stand no chance against the attack of the virus,” she said.

Dawid Basson, director of the firm, explained the community has always been very important to the firm and that outreach projects are regularly undertaken.

“The firm is committed to excellence not only in its service offering but also its client-focused approach. We acknowledge and appreciate the endless efforts and love healthcare workers in the Alberton community had given the greater community,” he said.

Sylvia Karow, client liaison officer at both hospitals, thanked them for the donation and said these will be given to every employee at the hospitals.

During the handover were Annarentia Muller (director), Eunice Matjeke (legal adviser), Thenji Masingile (relationship officer), Dawid Basson (co-director), Sylvia Karow, Mmathapelo April, Chané Mentoor and Amelia Olley (conveyancer manager).
