The deacon of Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in La Rochelle, Walter Middleton, recently launched his book titled Born to Serve.
The book talks about his life, career, humour and miracles to name a few. He said he hopes people will get inspired when reading it.
“All the proceedings of this book will go towards the upliftment of the poor. As we always feed the less fortunate, we will continue to do so.
“The book is available at R240; it is also available at Amazon and Takealot. The book can be a great Christmas present for loved ones,” he said.
In the book, there is a full chapter on the World Food Programme. The deacon worked closely with them and got three awards from them. The programme received a Nobel Peace Prize for 2020.
