Fox Security arrested a suspect on November 29 for possession of a stolen vehicle in the Johannesburg South area.
“We received an alert from the Glenvista CPF LPR cameras in the Johannesburg south area, notifying us of a positive stolen vehicle in the area,” said Elowayne Gouws, operations manager.
Fox tactical and reaction units searched for the vehicle and found it at a close-by mall.
“Tactical units and SAPS arrested the suspect when he returned to his vehicle from the mall.”
According to Gouws, the owner of the vehicle confirmed the vehicle was stolen a week ago in Benoni, and the tracking company lost signal in Thokoza.
“Well done to all involved. Another suspect off the streets.”
