Zanelle changes the lives of 90 women and children

The 70 bags were handed over to Pixie Pink, an advocate and an activist against crimes against women and children and another 20 bags to Alberton Victim Support.

Many of you by now know the 12-year-old Archangel Raphael’s Helper, Zanelle Huyzers, as she has been doing a lot of charity work in the Alberton and surrounding areas.

We got to know Zanelle as the little girl who wants to change the world by doing good deeds for others.

Due to August being Women’s Month, she took it upon herself to fill up 90 bags for women and children.
For the bags, Zanelle collected body spray, roll-on, toothpaste, toothbrush, a small packet of tissues, sanitary pads, body cream, soap, face cloths and a packet of sweets.

“I take a stand against woman and child abuse. And with it being Women’s Month, I thought let me make it extra special for women by handing out these bags. This is my way of thanking women for what they do and to show them that we appreciated them,” said Zanelle.

Zanelle also visited the women from Silverkroon to hand out soup, and she had a little surprise for the women.

“I wrote down everyone’s names on a piece of paper and threw it in a hat. Thereafter I picked out 10 names and each of them received a hair voucher at Paul James Hairdressing Mall at New Market.”

“Thank you to everyone who donated towards my project. Thank you Debbie Nebbeling van Paul James Hairdressing Mall at New Market for the sponsoring of the vouchers. With one kind deed, we can change the world,” Zanelle concluded.
