Celebrating Women’s Day this year

Women's Day is upon us and many are wondering how they will celebrate it this year due to Covid-19 and the lockdown regulations.

On August 9, women all over the world will be celebrated as part of International Women’s Day.

Here are some ideas on how you can spend Women’s Day this year with all the lockdown regulations:

  • Pamper yourself by going for a hair cut or a pedicure or manicure.
  • Dine with your loved ones via Zoom. Get all your loved ones to set up a diner table at their houses and then make some good memories with your loved ones via a Zoom meeting
  • Give back to other women by getting involved in NGOs or social enterprises that empowers women and girls. Alternatively, you could even volunteer at your local community centre or help out at church.
  • Follow your dream / passion by doing an online course or join an online hobby class.
  • Go for a health check-up. What’s better than gifting yourself with good health
  • Take out some time to care for your body, get it examined and stay rest assured by opting for health insurance. Overcome your health blocks, if any, and embrace a healthy life.
  • Take a photo of yourself to add on your social media platforms and write something positive to yourself.
  • Make it a movie and pyjamas day. Binge-watch your favourite series or movies.
  • Accomplish a personal goal.
  • Go for a walk and breathe in some fresh air.
  • This year, do things a little differently. Celebrate the powerful women in your life and yourself for being just that powerful.
