Ward 106 councillor Alderman Bruna Haipel gladly received, yet again, 55 grocery hampers from Pick n Pay Newmarket @ Lemon Tree on June 15.

Donated by Cindy and Jason Luscos of Pick n Pay Lemon Tree, these hampers will be handed to Alberton residents who applied for food relief.

Hampers consist of maize meal, spaghetti, tinned beans, mixed vegetables, pasta, rice, mince, soup, salt, tea, sugar and powder stocks.

Haipel said: “Together with my committee, we commend and thank them profusely. We encourage Alberton residents to support them in this great cause. They have once again shown Alberton residents that Pick n Pay Lemon Tree cares.”
