Alberton police station reopen after reported Covid-19 cases

The police station was temporarily closed after the confirmed Covid-19 cases yesterday, July 10.

Alberton police station has been open today, July 11 after Covid-19 cases.

According to Alberton SAPS captain Manare Ramotshela, “all communities serviced by Alberton police station are advised that the police station has been opened after the closing due to fumigations.”

“The station has been decontaminated and we are informing our clients to come to the station as we are fully operational.”

“Our client service centre is opened and working 24 hours a day,” he said.

“Alberton SAPS management would like to thank our community for understanding and using alternatives while we were closed,” concludes Ramotshela.
