Syndicate busted in Alberton

Six suspects have been arrested by CPS Security officers on March 22 in Van Riebeeck Road in Alberton after attempting to break into a local self-storage facility.

“Our officers responded to the complaint and apprehended the suspects who attempted to flee from the premises.

“This syndicate has been involved in numerous incidents, ranging from business robbery to house break-ins,” said Tyrone van der Merwe, sales director of CPS Security.

The suspects have been detained at Germiston SAPS.

House break-in equipment and false number plates were found in their possession.

“We urge anyone who has a case number involving these suspects to liaise with Germiston SAPS,” he said.
