Shooting incident in Brackendowns, victim injured

"The victim was followed after attempting to exchange foreign currency,"

A  Shooting ensued on Hennie Alberts Street in Brackendowns this afternoon, January 30.

According to Tyrone van der Merwe, sales director from CPS Security, four suspects wearing balaclavas in a white BMW 3 series jumped out and shot hitting the vehicle in white next to the victim’s vehicle.

 “The victim was followed after attempting to exchange foreign currency,” added Tyrone

National Paramedical Services said the victim was treated with a small laceration to the upper body, possibly from being struck with something, not from a gunshot.
