FRANCES Vorwerg School’s intermediate phase hosted a Market Day for its learners on September 6.
The day was staged by Grade Seven learners who needed to know how to showcase their entrepreneurial skills which they gained in the Economic Management Science (EMS) class.
Learners were in groups and had stalls where they sold their products to other learners.
Profits generated from the day was shared between learners and the school.
The foundation phase also hosted a successful Casual Day celebration where they all dressed up in shiny clothes with faces painted.
Learners shared conversations and watched educational stories. The purpose of this was to create a spirit of togetherness among learners.
