BOOYSENS SAPS have opened a case of attempted murder following a shooting incident that took place in Robertsham on August 16.
This comes after a 50-year-old man survived an alleged hit right outside his residential home.
A video making rounds on social media shows a 50-year-old victim speaking to this unknown suspect, who, according to the police, introduced himself to the victim as a courier.
In the video, the pair are seen exchanging words for a few seconds when the suspect is seen pulling out his gun and firing a shot towards the victim.
The victim ran away and the suspect fired another shot but the victim managed to escape unharmed.
The Booysens SAPS communications officer, Lorrainne van Emmerik, confirmed that a case has been opened and the matter is being investigated.
