Inefficient billing system

“Why do away with a good system for one that is not user-friendly?”

Good day Alberton RECORD,

As you are aware Ekurhuleni have changed their billing system.

Unfortunately it is a very difficult system to operate. It has taken me almost two days to activate the system.

I have now managed to get into the system but the system says I have a credit of R2 500.

My account which I received today says I owe them R4 800.

So I don’t know which is correct. Unfortunately they do not answer the phone and my email goes unanswered.

Why do away with a good system for one that is not user-friendly? Have there been other concerns raised from your readers?

The RECORD has asked the City of Ekurhuleni for comment but at time of printing no comment was received.
