THE Ocean Basket at Lemon Tree Shopping Centre was held up by armed suspects on August 3.
According to Elowayne Gouws of Fox Security, the suspects stopped outside the restaurant in a Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Caddy.
One suspect entered the restaurant to look around and signalled to others that they could come in.
Two gunmen exited the vehicle armed with rifles.
One suspect reportedly stood outside the restaurant to keep watch and fired shots.
The second suspect entered the restaurant and fired one shot inside.
The suspects reportedly robbed the patrons and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured in the robbery.
The suspects fled the scene taking Heidelberg Road in the direction of Alrode.
At this time it is unknown if any suspects have been arrested.
