ALBERTON SAPS has asked the residents of Alberton to get involved with their local CPF. The CPF, aside from its monthly combined meetings, is divided into sub-sectors that meet monthly.
South Crest residents fall under Sector 1A and can meet with their local CPF at NG Kerk South Crest on Jan Meyer Street.
The next meeting will take place on August 28 from 7pm until 8pm.
Residents of Alberante, New Redruth, Alberante enclose, Raceview and Randhart can meet with their local Sector 1B CPF at Reading Country Club on Fore Street.
The next meeting will take place on August 13 from 6.30pm till 7.30pm.
Generaal Alberts Park Residents and Newmarket residents fall under Sector 1D and can attend their local CPF meeting at Randhart Scouts Hall on the corner of Hibiscus Avenue and Boekenhout Street.
The next meeting will take place on August 21 from 7pm until 8pm.
Residents of Alberton North and Elandshaven, which make up Sector 2A, can meet with the local CPF at Revival Christian Church on the corner of Piet Retief and Marthinus Oosthuizen streets.
The next meeting will take place from 7pm until 8pm on August 26.
Verwoerdpark and Florentia fall under Sector 2B and residents can attend the CPF meeting at the NG Kerk Verwoerdpark on Glen Drive.
The next meeting will take place on August 22 from 7pm until 8pm.
Capt Manara Ramothshela, the spokesperson for Alberton SAPS, has asked community members to report crimes or suspicions of crime to the police on 011 861 6800.
