The virus has attacked City Power’s database and other software’s, impacting most of applications and networks.
According to Isaac Mangena City Power spokesperson,” This has affected our customers’ ability to vend, that is buying electricity, upload invoices, or access our website. It may also affect our response to some outages as the system to order and dispatch material is affected.”

City Power IT team has been working since early morning 1 am to fix this problem.

City Power apologises to the customers for the inconvenience this is causing to them.
