The body of a baby was found on the boulevard, Alberton this morning, June 18.
According to construction workers on site, the body was found by municipal workers attending to a blocked drain. Once the blockage was cleared and water flowed the body was discovered in the drain.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene.
Police have now arrived and are beginning their investigation.
