WARNING: Beware of stolen vehicle scam

If you have had your vehicle stolen don’t fall for a scam which is doing the rounds.

Michelle Pelser, chair of Mondeor CPF precinct, is advising the community to be extremely cautious if phoned by a person who can give you all the correct details pertaining to your stolen vehicle.

“The person will advise if you pay a few thousand rand, he’ll meet you at a designated place where he says your car has been found. This is a scam and one person has already fallen for it and today (Friday, May 17), another victim was nearly caught out.”
