5km Walk a Dog Day in Henley on Klip on May 4

Funds raised will be used for doggy blankets and kennels to look after and home dogs until they are adopted.

LET your dog do the walk for other doggies in distress and need.

Bring your four-legged friend, and other friends, and join in the 5km Walk a Dog Day in Henley on Klip on May 4.

This fun pet walk is a fund-raising event for Balls an’ All, an NPO that aids in sterilisation and assisted primary health services for stray animals.

Funds raised will be used for doggy blankets and kennels to look after and home dogs until they are adopted.

Parties involved in the fun day are HomemakersCare, Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls (OWLAG), Rotary and Rotary Anns.

OWLAG will provide parking and its learners will assist in the route guidance.

There will be watering stations at Molly’s Speakeasy conveniently situated at the bottom end of Ewelme Road.

Molly’s will offer a special ‘Bark-fest’ (breakfast for doggies) and a special human breakfast, as well as fresh water.

Cost is R50 per person and children under 12 can participate for free.

Registration starts a 7.30am with the walk at 8.30am from OWLAG.
