Alberton Primary still shining after 23 years

Alberton Primary holds the winning record for two decades

FOR the 23rd consecutive year Alberton Primary bagged the first place in the Alberton English Inter-Schools.

This year’s meeting was hosted at Hoërskool Dinamika and yet again, the school took the trophy back home as victors.

“The school takes pride in our athletes and applauds the hard work and dedication of the athletes who have been trained and groomed for victory through focus, dedication and guidance from their coaches. As a collective staff we could not be prouder of our athletes. The school athletes have been keeping up to the school motto ‘Play the Game!’” said the principal Mr Van den Bergh.

TROPHY IS BACK HOME AGAIN: S. Ngwenya, Mr J Botha (coach) and R Smit holding the trophy they won at inter-schools athletics. This is the 23rd year running in which Alberton Primary took the first place at the English Inter-Schools Athletics.

The school also wishes to thank the following coaches:

Mr J Botha, Mrs R van Rooyen, Mrs A Claassens, Mrs C Smit, Mrs K Visser, Mrs N de Waal, Ms C Kraukamp and Mr Y Florens.

Last but not least Alberton Primary School also wishes to thank the organisers of the event, Kenton Primary School and Hoërskool Dinamika for the use of their venue and congratulates all the athletes that participated on the day.
