A MAN was shot in the head after a shooting occurred at the intersection at Ring Road and Voortrekker Road near Mall at New Market earlier this afternoon.
According to sources, officers from Special Operations Group (SOG) chased the suspect driving a white Toyota Corolla after an incident at a petrol station.
Shots were fired and the suspect sustained a gunshot wound to the head. National Paramedical Services transported the patient (suspect) to Thelle Mogoerane Hospital in a critical condition.
