No strike from City Power workers

All City Power workers are currently on duty and committed to working continuously disproving these rumours as untrue and a complete hoax.

CITY Power refutes allegations circulating on social media platforms claiming that City Power workers, who work on prepaid meters, will soon embark on a labour action as false.

Isaac Mangena, City Power spokesperson, said both day and night shifts will have enough personnel to provide electricity services to all City Power customers throughout the City of Johannesburg.

City Power further assures its customers that prepaid electricity will continue to be available at all vending points. These include: Easy Pay outlets such as Pick n Pay and Shoprite Checkers supermarkets, internet and cellphone devices, ATMs, SA Post Office, etc.

For an isolated individual power outage that may occur in your area, please log a call at citypower.mobi or call 0860 562 874 to obtain a reference number for the call. City Power technicians will attend to it.
