SAPS confiscates illegal cigarettes

The suspects were given a fine of R3 000 each.

ALBERTON SAPS, in conjunction with the Tobacco Industry of South Africa, confiscated illegal cigarettes from three suspects on January 9.

The suspects who are all foreign nationals were each given a fine of R3 000. The fines were paid by the suspects and the cigarettes were confiscated to be destroyed.
