Brackenhurst man wins nationwide car competition

The car, a 2018 Datsun Go, was donated by Richard Meyer, CEO and owner of Good Knight Bedding.

THE winner of Good Knight Bedding’s nationwide competition to win a car, Hannes Coetzee from Brackenhurst, received his new vehicle on December 12.

Good Knight Bedding ran the competition from July 1 to October 31. The car, a 2018 Datsun Go, was donated by Richard Meyer, CEO and owner of Good Knight Bedding.

Richard has been in the manufacturing of beds for the last 30 years.

Good Knight Bedding was founded in 2016 and has 40 stores all over South Africa. The competition could be entered at any one of the stores. To qualify for the lucky draw to determine the winner a customer had to buy any Good Knight products from any of the retail stores.

Hannes entered the competition at Good Knight Bedding in Van Riebeeck Avenue. The owner of this branch, Thys Mostert, has been trading at these premises for the last 20 years and has recently joined the Good Knight Bedding Group.

The draw for the winner was held in November and Hannes’s name came up as the winner. The keys to his new car were handed over and the car registered in his name on December 12.
