EMPD arrests Cat dealer in Palm Ridge

The 57-year-old man is expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.

CAT valued at R5 800 was seized on December 17 when EMPD Community Liaison Unit members provided the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit with information about an elusive drug dealer operating from his place in Palm Ridge.

The place was raided and yielded the drug Cat with the estimated street value of R5. 800. A male suspect was arrested and locked up at Eden Park Police Station.

Upon raiding the house at 9.15am, EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members came across 29 ziplock bags of Cat.

The 57-year-old suspect was charged with possession and dealing in narcotics.

He is expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
