WATCH: The release of 100 balloons in aid of Nienke

A day of entertainment was held at Alberton Rugby Club, all to help raise money for Nienke Louw.

A CONCERT in support of Nienke Louw was held on November 24 at Alberton Rugby Club.

Young Nienke has been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease, atrioventricular septal defect, which affects the valves between the heart’s upper and lower chambers. To ensure her recovery, a life-saving operation is needed.

The proceeds of the concert go towards this operation and Nienke’s recovery.

The day was filled with good music by performing artists. There were stalls on the day, selling their wares and all making a contribution towards Nienke’s operation.

Auctions were also held with people giving money towards the worthy cause.

A touching moment was the release of hundreds of balloons, each sold at R2 each with those proceeds also going towards the operation.
