Man dealing in Mandrax and dagga arrested in Eden Park

The suspect was detained at Eden Park on charges of possession and dealing in dagga and narcotics.

AN early morning raid, starting at 3am during a special operation, on Tuesday, November 20, resulted in EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit arresting a 21-year-old man suspected of dealing in narcotics.

The suspect was nabbed at 3.50am following a tip-off from the community members.

During the raid in Eden Park six full Mandrax tablets, five half Mandrax tablets, five quarter Mandrax tablets and 88.91grams of dagga were uncovered. The estimated value of the drugs is R1 300.

The suspect was detained at Eden Park on charges of possession and dealing in dagga and narcotics. He is expected to appear in the Palmridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
