Second bomb scare at NuPay New Market

The threat caused the building to be evacuated by all staff.

Apparently NuPay head office received a call  from an unknown source that there is a bomb in the NuPay New Market building.

The threat caused the building to be evacuated by all staff.

Bomb squad and relative authorities arrived on the scene and searched the building. After the building was searched it was determined that there was in fact no bomb to be found in the building.

Employees were warned by police to be on the lookout for any suspicious objects and contact them if any are seen.

The mall is  expected to re-open at about 12h30.
