REAPER Tactical, Alberton Community Responders and AfriForum Alberton reacted to a tip-off of a possible kidnapping situation in Meyersdal on October 25.
They reacted and deployed a team to scout the area for the suspects’ vehicle, which was spotted at the Sasol Garage in Michelle Avenue. That is where the suspects tried to kidnap the victim’s family member as well. The team moved in to intervene and apprehended the three suspects. Both victims were extracted from the situation. Suspects were handed over to Brackendowns SAPS, who is busy with the investigation.
“We want to thank Fox Security and Hi Zone Security Services for their swift backup and assistance, as well as Brackendowns SAPS for their quick response and for making the arrests,” said a member of the Alberton Community Responders.
