THE Animal Protection Network (APN), in partnership with the Brackenhurst Veterinary Clinic, held a Spayathon on October 7.
This is their way to tackle the breeding and overpopulation problems of pets in the Alberton area and also to help pet owners who can’t afford it to get their pets sterilised.
There were about 80 pets that needed to be sterilised on the day and it was a busy day for the doctors and staff. Pet owners were at the clinic from 8am till late.
This was their second Spayathon and it sure was a success. APN thanks Alberton from the bottom of their hearts for the wonderful support they always receive. For more information about APN, contact Zuerina Venter on 082 850 9842.
