GALLERY + VIDEO: Bomb scare at NuPay New Market

Workers were given the green light to reenter the building around 11am as it was determined to be safe.

Apparently NuPay head office received a call at about 9.10am from an unknown source that there is a bomb in the NuPay New Market building.

The threat caused the building to be evacuated by all staff.

Bomb squad and relative authorities arrived on the scene with two dogs who searched the building. After the building was searched it was determined that there was in fact no bomb to be found in the building.

Workers were given the green light to reenter the building around 11am as it was determined to be safe. Employees were warned by police to be on the lookout for any suspicious objects and contact them if any are seen.
