ON October 3 at about 8pm the manager of Rietvlei Zoo Farm was shot at his home on the farm.
A child in the home, saw two suspects by a window and ran to the father’s bedroom, waking him up.
He went to the main door to make sure the security gate was locked and suspects began shooting at him. He was rushed to a local hospital with gunshot wounds.
The suspects made off with appliances including TV’s and ran off from the scene.
Mondeor SAPS is investigating a case of attempted murder and house robbery.
