Crime summit brings the concerned of Eden Park together

During the summit the concerns of the community were heard.

IN partnership with Eden Park SAPS the concerned residents of Eden Park, Palm Ridge and Greenfields met for a crime summit on September 18.

Residents formed committees who discussed different aspects of the situation in the area pertaining to crime. Committees discussed crime in schools, business sector and in general, with a large focus on drugs.

Sergeant Mitta Badi of Eden Park Police Station spoke to the RECORD about the importance of police and community working together with businesses in the area to combat crime.

On the day the topics discussed were made open to the public with them pointing out the problems they think are most relevant regarding crime. These issues were then brought to the attention of police and discussed.
