Arrests this week by security companies, SAPS and EMPD in Alberton

Various arrests made in Alberton.

A NUMBER of arrests have been made in Alberton by security companies, Alberton SAPS, EMPD Drug Enforcement and EMPD Public Order Policing.

These arrests include the following:

•A man and woman were arrested at close to Hoërskool Dinamika by Fox Security. They were previously also reported for stealing cell phones from learners’ bags at Hoërskool Marais Viljoen.

•One arrested in Brackenhurst for house break-in by Fox Security.

•Drug dealer, previously arrested in May this year, arrested again for dealing and possession of khat by EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit. •Khat worth R52 000 and cash amounting to R20 560 was confiscated.

•Two arrested by Fox Security for trying to load goods valued at R200 000 from a factory in Alberton North with fraudulent papers.

•One arrested by Fox Security for stealing a gas bottle from a delivery truck in Randhart.

•One arrested in Radio Street for possession of dagga by Alberton SAPS.

•One arrested for possession and dealing with dagga in Thokoza by EMPD Public Order Policing Unit.

•EMPD arrested one suspects for breaking-in in General Alberts Park and found a flat screen TV in his possession.

•One arrested by CPS Security in Newmarket for stealing items from a property neighbouring one of their client’s properties.

•EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a 34-year-old man in Eden Park in possession and dealing with khat. Khat valued at R3 200 was confiscated.
