Woman left seriously injured following a vehicle rollover in Meyerton

A woman was found lying inside the vehicle.

A WOMAN in her 60s was left seriously injured on August 9 following a vehicle rollover on the Jim Fouche Road in Meyerton.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 10am to find the vehicle lying on its roof at the bottom of an embankment. A woman was found lying inside the vehicle.

Rescue services had to use specialised equipment to free the woman from the vehicle. Once freed, paramedics assessed the woman and found that she had sustained serious injuries to her chest.

Paramedics treated the woman and provided her with pain-relief medication before she was transported to Sebokeng Provincial Hospital for further treatment.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
