LEARNERS from Hoërskool Dinamika had to complete a community project during the winter school holidays in July and they chose to paint and decorate a playroom in the junior boys’ hostel at Frances Vorwerg School.
Some shelves and cupboards were painted. All the walls were painted and furniture was shuffled around to create more space in the junior boys’ leisure room.
“They boys feel right at home and the junior hostel boys from Frances Vorwerg school are unlikely to want to leave this fun room anytime soon,” said Anandi Spies on behalf of Frances Vorwerg.
All paint and brushes were sponsored by Mr Croydon Walter-Gerout.
