Junior Colleges Castillian hosted a Soup Kitchen at Brackenhurst Clinic

They doubled their quota and gave out 200 cups of soup.

THEIR aim was to warm 100 people’s hearts in the community with a cup of delicious chicken and vegetable soup.

But the little ones did much more than that. Junior Colleges Castillian hosted a Soup Kitchen at Brackenhurst Clinic on July 18 in celebration of Mandela Day. They doubled their quota and gave out 200 cups of soup.

“We thank the staff of Brackenhurst Clinic for the wonderful work they do and for receiving us with such warm and gracious hearts,” said Elizabeth Steenkamp, principal.
