VERONIQUE Kuit, a local model from Alberton and also Miss MWI International Ambassador, celebrated her 67 minutes on Mandela Day on July 18 with children.

She first went to drop off baby clothes, shoes and baby mattresses at Door of Hope in Glenvista.

“I also made an effort to spend some time with the children as they are always wanting love,” said Veronique.

After that, Veronique visited the Siyabonga Children’s Home in Germiston where she donated winter clothes, shoes and toys for the children.

“Mandela Day is there so that people can act on the idea that each person has the power to change the world,” she said.
