Give back on Mandela Day at the Alberton SPCA

Spend your 67 minutes with Alberton SPCA.

On Wednesday, July 18 the Alberton SPCA would welcome any companies or individuals who wish to spend 67 minutes (or more) helping the SPCA.

There are various tasks that are required, from tidying up, painting, clearing out and more.

“We can always find work for willing hands,” said Vanja Ingold, admin manager.

Note, all volunteers must be 16 years or older.

“If you are unable to come in, why not donate R67, R670 or even R6 700 to us,” said Vanja.

“Every donation helps, be it big or small and it’s such a great way to honour the memory of President Nelson Mandela. He was an extraordinary man so let’s do something extraordinary in his name,” she said.

The SPCA receives no government funding and is entirely reliant on the local community and local businesses to support us. Without your support, we would not be able to continue with our mission of preventing cruelty to animals.

If you wish to partake in the day, please phone the office on 011 907 1568 and book your time slot or email fundraising@spcaalberton.org.za
